Kun Liu graduated from University of Science and Technology of China in 2008. Then he joined Prof. Ning-yi Zhou's lab studying microbioal degradation pathway of aromatic compounds in Wuhan Institute Of Virology, CAS, where he earned his Ph.D degree in microbiology in 2013. He then completed postdoctoral research in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Qingdao Institute Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, CAS. He joined Li's Lab since 2015 and his research interest is in the biosynthesis of flavor and fragraces.
